Built of Northern White Pine, this built-in closet cabinet, or armoire measured 8"' wide x 80" high, and fit into the existing closet depth of 28". Behind the 2 pairs
of flat panel doors are 1 1/4" metal bars to hang clothes. There is space below to place shoes or whatever. The 8 dovetailed drawers measure 19" wide x 8" high x 24 1/2"
deep, and offer wonderful storage. The wrought iron hinges and door handles were re-forged in our own blacksmith shop. The cabinet was stained with our Early American
stain, and finished with 4 coats of catalyzed varnish.

The space in between was almost useless. After tearing up the old carpet, we laid a hickory wood floor, painted the walls, and the room was ready for the new pine cabinet!
This built-in unit was crafted in two sections, as to carry it up the staircase. Careful planning allowed it to be bolted together once in the bedroom, and simply slid into the existing closet space. We can design custom cabinetry in closets or alcoves for many uses, such as Armoires, Bookcases, Entertainment Centers, and more.
