Early American Blanket Rail Bed

 Traditionally styled, this bed, sometimes called a cannonball bed, features hand turned 48" high posts and bed rail. The bed runners are solid wood, dado jointed in, and have angled braces insuring a very strong bed. The pods house an underbed dresser with three large dovetail drawers, 25" wide, 24" deep, and 7" high. This bed is ideal for a bedroom that does not have adequate space for both a dresser and bed separately. This early american furniture style bed is also available without pods. Shown in pine, it is offered in all woods such as maple, oak, birch or cherry.
