This majestic piece was featured on the front
cover of the November, 1999 issue of “Southeastern Antiquing” magazine.
Some pieces of furniture are heavily influenced by the Shakers without
being a reproduction. This piece was first built in Michael’s mind with
every detail slowly being revealed. The 36 solid floating panels in the
doors, sides, and back, as well as the dovetailed drawers were made of
Tiger Maple. The case is Cherry. This piece measures 86" long x 82" high
x 24" deep. It was made with symmetry in mind down
to the smallest of details. It is engraved “Mary Margaret” under the
glass section. Let Michael and John design a piece for you, using your
visions and requirements.
All our hutches are built in two sections, top and bottom. They can be
ordered (bottoms only) as buffets. We offer Shaker hutches in many different
configurations of door, drawer, and style designs with matching dining
room furniture.
