Flame Cherry Asian Entertainment Center
Designed by Christine Broda, Architect
Custom Asian Furniture
Built by The Delnero Fine Furniture & Cabinetry Company, Fort Plain, N.Y.
The design influence of Asian furniture inspired this lovely flame cherry piece. Designed by, and built for Chris Broda, this cabinet was designed to house their audio
equipment and vast CD collection. The cabinet sits under a flat screen TV. The upper 3 drawers work well to hold items like remotes, while the 6 lower paneled
drawers held CDs.

If you are in need of an Architect for residential work, additions, or custom kitchen design, we recommend contacting Christine Broda, Architect. Office (914) 683-3867, or e-mail Chris.
The cabinet featured pocket doors that revealed audio equipment and the cable box. The pair of shelves were set on heavy duty slides, so the job of getting to the back of the heavy equipment to change wiring and such is made easy. There was a corrugated stainless steel panel that fit into the back panel (not shown here) that was installed at the home, which allowed for cooling of the equipment, yet protected it from dust.
A shot of this Japanese inspired furniture, and the sliding shelves.
An isometric rendering by Christine Broda, Architect. This custom made Asian styled cabinet measured 65" wide x 35" high x 22" deep. Over the last few years, we have built other pieces, including a full set of Asian Styled Walnut & Maple Kitchen Cabinets designed by Chris in the influence of Japanese design.
A shot of the amazing drawer storage of this piece. The drawers ran on high quality German slides.
A close up of the interior of one of the CD drawers. The sides of the drawers and center divider are lower than a CD case, making it convenient to pick a CD out by holding it from the sides. Note, the Asian style cherry knobs that were hand turned by us.
