Large Red oak trees are some of the most impressive trees found in the eastern forests.
Red Oak is not as hard, or as heavy as White Oak. Though we build furniture out of
both, Red Oak is by far the most popular. Its grain and color is vary uniform, from
tree to tree. Even though oak is extremly hard, it sands very easy, and takes stains and
finishes better than just about any other wood.
